Marathi Actors Chirag Patil And Addinath Kothare Announce The Postponed Release Of Their Bollywood Film 83 For Their Fans
Covid-19 pandemic is affecting the entertainment industry adversely.
The release date of Chirag Patil And Addinath Kothare-starrer Bollywood film 83 has been postponed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. The makers of the film took to Instagram to announce the same. They wrote, "83 is not just our film but the entire nation’s film. But the health and safety of the nation always come first. Stay safe, take care. We shall be back soon!". This post was reposted by all of the cast including Ranveer Singh.
The film 83 was set to hit theatres on April 10. The makers, however, have decided to shift the film's release date after the novel coronavirus spread in the country. The number of affected people has risen above 190.
The spread of Covid-19 has affected the entertainment industry worldwide. Marathi industry of films and theatre both is greatly affected due to lockdown in public places. Films like Mann Fakiraa, Vijeta, and many more are pulled out of cinema halls. The releases scheduled in this month have also been rescheduled indefinitely. In the Hindi film industry, along with 83, release dates of two other major films - Sooryavanshi and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar were postponed.
